The last race of our national championship took place recently with a special guest from Finland, XRAY driver Joseph Quagraine and his mechanic from the UK, Jess Saunders, joining us for the two day event.
The schedule was set to have 2 qualification runs on Saturday and 3 qualification runs and finals on Sunday.

Joseph tested many things on Saturday, but still made time to ensure that he helped all Greek drivers with setup and driving advice.
On Sunday he won all of the 3 qualification rounds and his semifinal (by 1 lap) to secure the 1st place on the grid for the final.

In the 45 min final he had a difficult 1st lap (from 1st place back in the group of 7 cars) but by the second lap he had regained the first place position. Joseph was able to establish a one lap lead over 2nd by the 10 minute point and cruised to victory.

Jess fought right to the finish with Greek champion Theologitis but he finally won the 3rd place on the podium passing the finish line 1sec faster!!! 36 drivers took part in the event, with 8 of them driving XRAY, making it the most popular car at the race, and most successful with 4 out of 10 cars in the A final being produced by XRAY.
